Allstate NI is a company based in Belfast, Derry and Strabane in Northern Ireland. The company was previously known as Northbrook Technology. As of May 7, 2008, Northbrook Technology was renamed to Allstate Northern Ireland.
Allstate NI specialises in delivering technology and business services to its parent company, Allstate. The company currently employs around 1500 workers with plans to develop further.

The company established its first office in Corporation Street, Belfast and started recruiting in early 1999. The company has since moved to its current larger headquarters building in Lanyon Place and has opened a second facility within the Magee College campus of the University of Ulster in Derry. In 2005 the company was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise.[1] In the same year managing direct Bro McFerran was awarded a CBE in the Queen's birthday honours.
In 2007 the company came 25th in the Belfast Telegraph's Top 100 Companies 2007, with a turnover of £41.3m and a profit of £1.2m, which is considerably less than 2004 when they made a profit of £6.3m.[2][3]
Despite Allstate NI's best attempts at cost cutting, their finances in the year of 2008 only continued to worsen. According to the Belfast Telegraph[4], in 2008, they failed to make any profits, incurring a large loss of 3.5 Million Pounds.
The Strabane Facility holds the ATSC (Allstate Technology Support Center) and the top level management contact point ECC (Enterprise Command Center), these provide frontline contact and Technology Support for Allstate Employees and Allstate Agencies, as well as contractors home and abroad. This is the centre which has seen the largest recent growth of outsourcing in the company, taking advantage of the local expertise in the IT sector.
